We initiated this platform with a strong will to provide a platform for both locals and foreigners to book hotels in Sri Lanka. After some heavy researches, we found many interesting facts. One of the main points of it is that Sri Lankans use foreign platforms to book hotels in Sri Lanka due to the unavailability of a proper, well maintaining booking platform in Sri Lanka. In addition, one more important fact is that hotels pay a huge commission to booking platforms for the reservations that signifies we send out dollars to reserve hotels in Sri Lanka.
Our ultimate goal is to cater these two requirements in an effective way where both hotels and customers are benefited. We have planned to charge zero booking commissions from hotels in order to provide the best rates for the customers and the hotels now do not need to worry about paying commissions.
As the initial step we have built our website for the people to find out hotels, and contact hotels directly in order to make reservations. We are on the process of developing our booking engine where customers will be able to make confirmed bookings via our platform and the development of our mobile applications.
Our plan is not just to limit here with a booking engine, but we are planning on promoting the tourism industry of Sri Lanka to the world as a whole, and our next platforms are on the process of development. We have a huge goal to support the total tourism industry which will eventually benefit hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, tour guides, local businesses and many more, and to provide the needful support to the improvement of dollar income to Sri lanka.
